I'm thinking of the actor I was going to ask next, although with different occupations/fields of expertise. I was contemplating how to change the gynecologist twins. It can't be?

Jeremy Irons

M. Butterfly - Diplomat
The French Lieutenant's Woman - Scientist
The Mission and The Man in the Iron Mask - Priest
Betrayed - Literary Agent

I think I know two of the remaining three movies, but I'm not sure about the third:

Real-life crime boss - Lepke
Musician - The Rat Race
World War II hero - maybe Kings Go Forth, or Beachhead, or Captain Newman, M.D.?

You only need two more., Sarah. Laughing

Have you been to: http://www.imdb.com

Oh, I just saw Bree's responses. I don't know about the Rat Race. I was thinking of Some Like It Hot for the musician.
Lepke is correct for the crime boss.

The WWII hero was the Indian who helped raise the flag at Iwo Jima. Shall I give you the answer?

I've got one lined up! Went into movie trance whilst doing the domestics. You'll probably get it dead quick though.

Can't you ask me a 'musicals' one, I'm not bad at those.

I enjoyed the posts on Victor/Victoria, saw Julie Andrews being interviewed and she said she had 'the most fun' on that film....it shows! It's my daughter's (Ruth) favourite film after Calamity Jane. I'd say mine was Sweet Charity or Cabaret.

Bisexual has to be the key - there have been lots of prostitutes and queens, but not so many bisexuals.
