Hey it's only getting up to 93 today. The weatherman referred to that as "cooler weather".

I feel sorry for the tourists in New York, who are walking around in shorts and tee-shirts (which is probably all they packed for a trip here in the summer), looking cold and miserable. But it's supposed to be hot and humid by the end of the week.
So much for the weather report -- now to ponder Raggedy's question.

All I can think of is Oklahoma (Surrey with the Fringe on Top), but it isn't an inbetweener, and there's no song from the movie that fits your question. Maybe a walk outside at lunch will clear my head. (But then I have to go to a "Town Hall" meeting at 2 -- the kind where the CEO tells the assembled troops how well the company is doing -- so that will just muddle my head all over again.)

But at least he tells the troops how WELL they're doing.
Not Oklahoma, but good guess.

A lightbulb went on over my head as I was walking to the elevator, so I turned around and came back to my office to share my exciting discovery:
The Music Man - Ya Got Trouble
Of course, when a CEO tells the troops how well they're doing, what he really means is how well he's doing as their leader. (Cynical -- who, me?)

Oho the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street,
Oh please let it be for me!
Oho the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street,
I wish, I wish I knew what it could be!
I could continue if you'd like...

Please do. And in between verses, you may throw in the next clue, if you'd like.

Oops -- I meant to say it was when I suddenly started hearing "Wells Fargo Wagon" in my head as I was walking down the hall that I realized what musical your song came from!
Go for it, Raggedy or mac -- it may be a while before I get back here.

Sorry, I'm picturing you running for the elevator singing Oh the Wells Fargo Wagon is a'comin".

Did the server go down this afternoon? I couldn't get into A2K when I got back to my office from my (interminable) meeting.
The only thing I learned from the meeting is that the new corporate buzzword for a good product is "best of breed", as in "Our mission is to make widgets that are best of breed." This might be appropriate if I worked for the American Kennel Club, but (alas) I don't.

Computer was down for three hours or so. I dusted my living room furniture.
