hello people of OZ, you guys made the news here tonight, closing the roof at the tennis match, they reported that temps hit near 60 c at centre court , you'd expect people to burst into flames at that temp

they also mentioned the train problems, rails warping in the heat

But "yucky" would accurately describe conditions in southern Oz pretty well at the moment.

The thought of rolling around in some northern hemisphere snow is extremely appealing!

Here's hoping life in southern Canada is less dramatic.

we got hit with another big snow dump last night and today, about 20-25 cm, an accident near here caused traffic to be rerouted, and while trying to negotiate a slippery corner on a side road a beer truck overturned

speaking of which, i started listening to a podcast from a radio show called hamish and andy, on a fox radio station, they were talking about the "bubble o bill", drunk driving defense, that was some funny stuff
