yep, it's a weird area, it's a very rich agricultural area, but with crazy extremes of temp in summer and winter
recently quite a few decent wineries have sprung up, producing not only award winning wines, but also a dessert wine called ice wine, a select amount of grapes are left on the vines and then picked when the temps are around -15 c, the freezing concentrates the sugar and produces a very sweet almost syrupy wine
