Sometimes at work, I get vision disturbances. By this I mean my pheriperal vision gets wavy/blurry. Almost tunnel vision. It's weird. I get a nasty headache.
Do you think this is from my monitor or do you think this is something medical?
It doesn't happen all the time.
I think you should see an ophthalmologist.

I get similar to that from my goddam stinking wrecked neck.
But...guess what? I'd be asking your doctor, since you may wish to exclude anything nasty, and possibly get ergonomic advice re your work station if the cause is neck tension, or anything related to your positioning at work.
I was just there a few months ago and nothing was wrong (I see an ophthalmologist because of my thyroid disease). They did say I had a partially detached retina but that I shouldn't worry unless I saw flashes. Could it be from that? I can't remember what eye it was in....
I guess it wouldn't hurt to call and make an appointment but I was just wondering what you all thought. You know I value your infinite wisdom.
I get disturbing visions sometimes.
Maybe it's the florescent lights.

No....I ususally get the visions under incandescent light.
thanks for your concern though.
Bella, I'd go see my eye doctor again, just to be on the safe side, and while your at it, I'd also see my doctor because low/high sugar levels, or low/high blood pressure can cause this too.....
Headaches, blurred vision...yep, get it checked!
You have to have your left leg amputated.

Oh no!
Hey, wait...the last time you gave me medical advice I ended up naked on your bathroom floor....
I was thinking of a visual field test, which checks peripheral vision. But, as this is transitory, it might be something like happens with Dlowan, or any of the other suggestions here.
Why don't you call the ophthalmologist, or email him or her? She or he might have a suggestion - they probably are aware of this various causes of this sort of thing.
