Would you hire me back as a freelancer after all this?

Hi Kicky--I'm not around a2k enough for you to actually know me, but I have peeked into your life once in a while, especially after you huge decision to remain in New York. Even though I didn't post anything, I was truly cheering you on.

Now I have to post to say I like your style. You are a free spirit and you seem to have been able to make that work for yourself. You remind me a little of the younger of my two sons. He did very well at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, winning the fifth year competition a couple of years ago. He is beginning to realize that winning some honors and selling a few pieces, won't actually pay the rent. He is coming to realize that his life will never fit the corporate style, but it will always be more interesting and creative and, like you, he always seems to find something that will keep him working.

Good luck to you wherever you go.
