@danon5,
That's McCain's claim to fame don't ya know. Not saying that prisoners of war had an easy time of it - they didn't. McCain's political career was founded because of his pow status, not his military record.

And ole george was awarded a flack jacket for his military awol status.

America will recover when the republicans are out of office

@alex240101,
Hi alex - there were indeed 81 earlier rainforest threads.

On the old Abuzz site (before there even was a baby A2K), threads were usually only useful for about 150 - 200 posts before they couldn't be called up by people on dial-up. We continued with that thread length for several years after we moved to A2k - it was fun to start threads on new themes. We somehow lost track of that in the past six months or so.

Mebbe it's a long weekend project to do a new one?

I've looked and can't seem to locate the page. Copied it then misplaced the notepad. Stradee's senior moment Confused

Reading prior threads is fun...

Terrific memories, articles, and hilarious comments.

At the old abuzz is where i met the WildClickers and joined the clicking team. Four years with a2k, and we're still going strong. WildClickers rock

Thanks Beth! Smile

@Stradee,
I agree, Stradee, we Wildclickers are a great group of clickers. We have saved a lot of trees.

My herd just saved another tree - it is smiling greatfully.

Oh, and good news about the washer - I just found out there are no Sears repairmen anymore.. The company now hires other subcontracts services. Probably saves Sears a ton of money.

@danon5,
you could always just pick someone from up the page, or up the thread to reply to - it'll make for entertaining reading when/if the threading feature is enabled

it has been fun re-reading the old threads

I've got a few of the old abuzz rainforest threads safely hidden Embarrassed somewhere on this computer - and someone at seattlebuzz saved almost all of the abuzz archives - now if I could just remember how to access them.

@danon5,
Dan, yep. Just call Sears Home Service and voila! Some rural areas may not have access to Sears Service, so yep again, the company contracts work to local repair folk.

The Sears near here is just a storefront operation. I was fortunate to have visited the store plus met the repairperson, and within a few hours, the appliance was repaired and good as new.

Beth, managed 7 tree plantings at the new site yesterday. Didn't do as well with the bowls of rice though.

Late clicks today
