I don't know. But, probably as we speak.

Like this change in TV to HDTV !!! Why can't they just leave us alone with our viewing???? Now, we are going to have to pay extra money just to watch TV Shocked Mad Mad

Craven posted on one of the threads in the forum I linked to that he's hoping the change will start this month.

I'd suggest looking at the threads - there's useful/interesting info in there about the changes that are coming.

The WildClickers have moved forums before, we'll do it again.

Maybe we should start a thread on HDTV! The airwaves belong to us, yet, we are being TOLD, THIS is what YOU have to do to see anything!
I have a very small TV, which sits in the kitchen. It's the kind with an antenna on top/ The screen is maybe 7 inches, has an AM/FM radio.

What do I do with it? I won't even be able to see channels 2-13! I never watch it, but I listen, while I prepare meals. What happens to TV's on boats? Cars? Well, I'm all clicked, saved my avatar and thanks to you all for keeping me informed! :wink:

Avatar saved, and laughed inside about Mz. Bella and the trip to the vet. I have one that requires long, heavy gloves.

sue,

Bella stayed out all night, then this morning another wrestling match just bringing her inside the house! Bad kitty.

She is funny though. Difficult not chuckling at her antics.

Teeny, i bought an inexpensive disc player for an older, smaller tv. What irks me too though, i have to purchase not only a new tv for the livingroom, but a new computer/printer as well.

Will be fun trying to figure out a2k's new micro whatever. {sigh}

For a couple of days after I apply their flea meds, or after a vet visit, I am definitely personal non grata.

@teenyboone,
Corn update: Picked six. Corn was mediocre. Not that sweet, very milky, hardy corn. Don't know if it was the caliber of seeds, type of corn, maturity,....hey, I grew my own corn.

@danon5,
I found the rules for changing avatars, but, don't have time or inclination right now to do it. Maybe later. Grin

Neat, I replied to myself - - - big laugh

Oh boy! This "world" here has really changed. No time right now to check the new site.
I just went today to check my mails; being still on vacation. Just leaving the coast of NC and I am on my way to Colorado.
Going home next week , will wave to you danon, when flying over Texas.

@sumac,
sue, Bella still isn't talking to me and she hasn't even seen the vet yet!

I've been working with her and the carrier to no avail. Determined never to set paw in carrier again, Mz Bella will recieve medical care from a visiting vet - and they can dig her out from underneath the furniture.
