WOW!! What a time I've been having with my compy - first the modem went out - then, with a new modem - I couldn't get any site to come up on screen - my Earthlink people who support the site are all in India. They just read some stuff from Earthlink to me for days - same old stuff over and over.

Finally, I had enough - I am now with Hughes.net and have a new email address = [email protected]

My old email is still good - I just won't look at it daily.

WOW - it's good to be back.

Happy weekend all - I can only say that once hooked on the internet - when denied access - it's like being in jail. Except not in with Bubba. That would really be Hell.

All clicked

Yur welcome Dan Very Happy Very Happy

Must be planetary for computer glitches. Keep getting a window that says one of the programs isn't working correctly and is slowing all the computer connections - e mail - webpages, etc. Confused Then the program 'must close' - a report sent - rebooted twice today - then the same window appears again, report...{sigh}

Late clicks

Another Monday. Clicked.

Stradee, sometimes when my program does what you are describing - I delete the temporary internet files and defrag the system. Then it runs better until the system builds up temp files again - then I repeat the above. Hope this helps.

Dan, just defragged a few days ago - clear history regularly, and also check computer connections. Tonight when i booted the computer, it appears that Windows may have corrected the problem. Still running slower than normals though. I'll check a few more programs. Thanks for the advise. Smile

Hi ya, Teeny!

Hiya, Stradee!

Back in February, I had a complete crash, lost everything and thanks to a backup cd, that I created when I purchased this piece of ****, 2 years ago,
I've recovered some, (all my photos), some applications, etc. Lost aLL of my documents and work I had done for 2 years! Now, I'm working with some freeware for documents, etc. I really need a tutor, because I think I can recover everything, if I knew the commands. Think it's time for a technician! Well, I'm all clicked and that's fine with me! Cool

My old IBM, running Win98, still works!
