Dan, just defragged a few days ago - clear history regularly, and also check computer connections. Tonight when i booted the computer, it appears that Windows may have corrected the problem. Still running slower than normals though. I'll check a few more programs. Thanks for the advise. Smile

Hi ya, Teeny!

Hiya, Stradee!

Back in February, I had a complete crash, lost everything and thanks to a backup cd, that I created when I purchased this piece of ****, 2 years ago,
I've recovered some, (all my photos), some applications, etc. Lost aLL of my documents and work I had done for 2 years! Now, I'm working with some freeware for documents, etc. I really need a tutor, because I think I can recover everything, if I knew the commands. Think it's time for a technician! Well, I'm all clicked and that's fine with me! Cool

My old IBM, running Win98, still works!

Wow! Sorry to hear your computer crashed, Teeny.

So far the only probs i've had is slow-to-boot and when the anti virus decides to upgrade the system - everything slows or freezes.

The computer is almost seven years old, and has worked well till recently. All the new upgrade technology more than likely tweeks the system. Who knows. When looking for programs from 'search' can't tell what the hell they are or what they're used for! LOL

All the documents are still in memory, cept i can't print anything, nor share recent photos cause the damned copy/scan/printer isn't working. Followed the promps, unistalled, then reinstalled then Lexmark decided to download a new driver and there went the printer. shitt

So the new technology promises to run programs where you can watch tv from your PC - super duper streaming video - and do everything but drive the car, right? Sure, with Dial

Nice flower, ehBeth.

I noticed on the national news that snow was heading your way.

We missed all the really bad weather that was reported to be in our area.

Thank you Dan.

Your click just saved
7.4 sq. ft. of Rainforest!

That was my first click. Somewhere there's a frog taking down, the for sale signs, on his property.
