Wildclickers taking a day off? A new thread perhaps?

is kinda quiet

Teeny, I'm in Califorina at the 2100 ft. level of the Sierra Foothills. Generally we don't have heavy snowfall, but occasionally when a good storm hits, driving is difficult because of the location of the house. This girl won't park her truck two blocks away and walk home. nuh uh

Tuesday though, there was snowfall all day. Was beautiful. Plus, that day was one of my scheduled days off from work. No driving. Today the snow began at about 4:00 pm, but since stopped. Who knows by tomorrow morning though. Winds are quite strong now.

And, oh yeah, after the foot to foot and a half of snow, I bet ya ehBeth is in minus F. degrees today.... Shocked

This is exactly what the scientist have been predicting for the past ten years at least or maybe a few more - - - I forget, but, it has been predicted for YEARS that global warming won't increase the number of storm effects - - - but, that it will increase the SEVERITY of the storms.

Now that is all happening.

We may all not have grandchildren to worry about 20 years from now - - - they - WE as the human animal - may not exist if our present trend is continued. Shocked

Hopefully, we will change something. Like gaining smarts - not money.

Smile at Candid Camera - - - Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hi all, all clicked this Friday.

It's sunny blue skies again here - temps at night in the 50's and during the day in the 60's to 70's. The Springtime birds are here and yesterday I saw big V's in the sky filled with ducks heading northward. Everything in Nature seems to be confused.

ehBeth and I are freezing from winter storms, and Dan's sunbathing! Shocked

Yep, Global warming is serious business, and agree the earth has just had about enough of humans glutting the planets natural resources.

We have our work cut out for us...

The reason I asked, is, we've had a drought, as far as snowfall goes, but not so inland. I'm on the coast, so by the time it gets here, it's rain or a flurry! Nothing, to write home about! It's 41 and sunny here! On the first Saturday, it's like Mardi Gras in Asbury Park. We have a large Gay Community, artists, moving south of NYC, lots of galleries, restaurants and chi-chi boutiques, that I can't afford! (I still shop the outlets), English and Collingswood auctions, etc. Sometime, they're called "flea markets", but I shop at IKea and the Bath Shops. I don't skimp when it comes to linen and housewares. I watch too much Martha Stewart, the Queen of living better, for less!

Back to the weather; we had high winds yesterday and the day before and rain, off and on, all week! Oh well, I'm waiting for my hair to dry and I'm all clicked for today! Have a great weekend! Go Giants! Cool

I've been watching the WX reports in both your areas. Stradee, you are the one to be careful - but, I have a feeling you already are.

Still, sunny and warm down here. If this keeps up we will have more insects and lizards and newts than ever. They all eat each other for a living you know. It's time to plant those tropical trees and other plants.
