Lovely, ehBeth

Canada has some of the most beautiful wildlands in the world. Reading and taking action from the "ForestEthics" site. Caribou photos and their habitat are stunning. Just georgous.

After the heavy rains, watching a quiet snowfall grace the landscaping, and pine forest. Good to be home. Very Happy

Teeny, your welcome.

A bamboo type platter holds my shell collection from scuba days. Each one has a memory attached...where found, occassion, etc. Very cool.

ul, if your reading our posts, thanks again for the Journey North link. Today featured the one and only chick born wild who migrated with her parents. Since then, they've met up again at the Florida winter site.

Dan, just a few minutes drive from the house {when i lived in the City} was the ocean, seal rock, the Cliff House, and the Great Highway. Sure miss the sights of the Coast. Planning a jaunt with daughter to visit, then lunch in Sausalito.

Stradee,
I visited the Village Fair Mall in Sausalito in 1967 - many years later, my Patti and I revisited it and bought a concrete rabbit about two feet tall - We affectionately named it the - "The Sausalito Hare from the Village Fair"

I'll post a pic of it soon.

Stradee,

I remember in Sausalito during the 60's there was a MUD slid that went through the city. The best thing I remember of the time was a sign I saw outside a book store that had been in the path of the mud - it read - "Dirty Books for Sale"

That was absolutely great.

Damn good sense of humor.

all creaked here. Another tree smiling. Very Happy

Dan, Sausalito was probably the best place on the planet during the 60's for shopping, bayside lunches, and meeting people from everywhere. Sure has changed from the day. People still visit the place - touristy, but not like it was then. Check out the new look of boathouses!
