so it's a mini cooper made by stephen cooper, british.

No, that doesn't relate to my location.

Hint....in the U.S., but Fresco's post provided a clue as far the name of the sculptor.

Smile

"Cooper" was not the production company. Think about the city where the sculpture is located.

(Aha...........pipped to the post !)

You got it.

That's a one mile walk from my house, and I drive by it to and from work every day.

Sometimes in the AM, I'm stopped in traffic because of the light ahead, and I peep in through the wrought iron fence at that particular statue....

In 1991, I lived in Austin briefly with my ex-husband Evil or Very Mad I was walking down Robert E. Lee one day and spied it from across the street. I was drawn over there, and I stood there with my head leaning against the iron rails, looking at it and crying.

It reminded me of my current husband and myself. I'd been with him before briefly marrying someone else (in a moment of insanity).

I felt so utterly destitute, knowing what I'd given up.

Now, I look at it and feel quite joyous and redeemed.

OK Francis....you're up.

It looks like this famous one - but that would be really too easy (and osso certainly would have spotted it) ...
