Leaka, sweetie, I bet she likes you. And a cranberry cake sounds wonderful.

Hell, I'd like to know how to make one.

Go for it. Smile

Leaka, if she sits with you it is because she likes you. If she's giggling, it is because she likes you. If she thinks you are funny... BINGO!

What does every female have on her list of important characteristics for a man she likes?

Sense of humor.

I understand being shy and scared to ask someone out. But, what's the worst that will happen? The world won't end if she says no. (I really don't think she will say no.) But, if she does you can just respond with something light hearted like "Okay, I just thought it might be fun."

Okay. Now, go get your coffee and come back and tell us what she said.

Well its 9:27 a.m here and I went to coffee shop at eight. Got my usual tea and since she was sitting and eating breakfast. I sat down with her. We talked for a bit. And then I went to throw away my cup.
Then I asked if she would like to go out with me, but that was after she helped when I fell.
And she giggled and said yes. Then she kissed me on the cheek. Then I asked if I could make her something Greek for lunch.
And she said that she liked that.
So now we are meeting each other for lunch. Generally on Tuesday I only go there once.
But now I'm making lunch too.

And I don't remember where I stashed the Greek Cranberry cake, but I'll bring some of that too.

Well I live with my friend in Mather, but the girl I like is working at Starbucks in Rancho Cordova.
I will have a great time because I'm really happy. I feel so rejuvenated right now because its really great to know that she is willing to go out with me.
Actually I have half the Greek Cranberry cake here. I have the ingredients.

1 Egg
2 cups of flour
1 cup of cranberries
optional* any kinda nut
1 cup of Greek Yogurt

And I've forgotten the rest. I'm making it right now. Its one of those things that you can't write down, but you just know it.
I'm actually a breath of fresh air here. I didn't know that and yes I'll give some recipes.
But most of them won't be from my families book. We try to keep that between family.
But I will give you the ones that I made as a child and they have developed into better dishes as I prepare them more and more.
Like the Greek Cranberry cake. I made that myself. My family liked it, and my friend in California liked it so I know she'll like.

Oh and don't forget baking powder.
Or whatever lifting agent.
Also its sort of like a cream cake or a puff cake. Because some yogurt is put inside, but i looks like a roll of bread, but its a cake.
So that means you may or may not want to have flavored yogurt.

Well I had eaten lunch with her. That was at twelve and she liked my Greek pasta.
She said she hadn't had Greek food before and that she really liked. She loved my Greek Cranberry Cake. She told me that cranberries were her favorite and ask me how did I know.
She giggled because I told her that I guess well.
When it was all done she kissed me on the cheek again. And now I'm really happy because she wants to see a movie with me.

Thank you Noddy 24.

Oh yes and you are suppose to cook the cake at 25mins. Depends on what your oven is.
And don't put the yogurt in the little hole you put in the cake before it cooks cause then you'll have cooked yogurt and its not very tasty.

Okay for the Greek Pasta you want:

Pasta Side:
Pasta
Salt
Olive Oil
Water
Big Pot

Place olive oil at the bottom of pan so that it won't stick, put a small amount of salt in the olive oil water, and place the pasta inside pan.
Let it boil.
When noodles are done drain.lol

The for the sauce:
Olive oil
Salt
Garlic
Onion
Basil
Oregano
Cream
Spinach(You don't have to use fresh)
Thickening agent

Well first you cut the onions, garlic, basil, and spinach. Then put a small amount of olive oil on your hot pan, then you put the garlic and onions down an let them extract their juice.
After that you put the basil and oregano and let that cook for a while. Then you put the cream and the spinach with the thickening agent. And let that cook until its creamy, but thick at the same time.

The chicken:
I like using the small chicken breast(but you can easily put chicken strips in the sauce.)
Salt
Olive oil
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Pepper

Preheat your oven at 400(depends on the oven)
Rub your whole breast with the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Use the olive oil to grease the pan. Place the chicken in the pan and put it in the oven for 1hr.

When everything is done you can put the pasta on the plate, then the sauce, and then the chicken on top and make it look all pretty.

That looks yummy; I may try it this weekend.

And -- congratulations on lunch (and a few nice kisses) with the coffee girl! We're so proud (I feel like we're all your aunts -- there are a few uncles thrown in there, too). Very Happy

After its baked.

You have to make sure your cake doesn't die or you won't be able to put in the yogurt.
The first time I made it my fell apart so I didn't get to put the yogurt in.

I will tell you as things as they happen.
(All the sudden my family got bigger.) lol!

This Friday we are going to see a movie. I told her she could choose the movie and I will pay.
Because I think that a woman should decide the movie. I think its rude that guys bring to movies they don't like.
And I will be willing to watch a chick flick because I don't have a problem with that.

Rancho Cordova?! Mather!? We're neighbors! I'm in Citrus Heights. Which Starbucks are you meeting at and when? Maybe I'll come take pictures. Very Happy

Do you know where the Target shopping center is? The Target center with Labou, Jamba Juice, and Subway.
With Gamestop and stuff.
And across the Target is a Petssmart and a Starbucks. Plus a Verizon store I think.
That Starbucks.
Sorry I'm not good with street names.

What about it, leaka?

Oh yeah later on with pictures would be better.
You don't know how these things go.
I wouldn't want to curse it.

So I'll leave pictures alone for a while. But thank you for the offer.

Of course when we have had some time pictures may be nice. It depends on her.
The woman should always make the decision.
