I hope I never get put on smiley probation
This is a little shop right down the street from me. He builds his own brand of guitars, and was telling me he had one just made for the guitarist from Def Leapard, and a few other big name guys. Had some expensive guitars in there other than his own, too:

Heres me wearing nothing but a smile
I have heard of the Gibson HD.6X-Pro but not seen it in the flesh. At this point I don't see it stomping my setup unless you must have A/D on-board for the guitar output.
Also my i2.13 has a piezo in the bridge, something the Gibson does not. My i2.13 has hex output and two split-able Seymour Duncan's.
But hey if the HD.6X-Pro gets to a music store nearby I'll have a look see but.....
Quote:haven't had time to run through the whole site yet, but unless I'm reading it wrong it looks like one of my commenter's was correct in stating that while the Digital Les Paul does indeed create a separate digital signal for each string, those signals are then routed to a breakout box (BoB,) which converts the signal back to analog for output to an amplifier or your computer's audio interface
Which begs the question: why would you want to convert a pure digital signal to analog and then back to digital for post-processing? Hmmm
