I'll tell you what, my grandson sure has it! Fifteen years old in 25 more days, and he knows what to say, when to say it and all that goes with it. By the way, this is Rae's son, Doug. A real charmer!

Who says they don't know? They know, more than we realize!

I swear even while I'm still in my "stay home" mode, Paddy knows when something different is going on, he's restless and watchful ... as soon as he realizes all is well with the world, he lays down and snoozes!

msolga she usually is about to do something wicked Rolling Eyes !

tell us more about flattie?

misti - yes they do pick up on signals don't they - Rosie always puts on the sad face as i get ready for work. If i stayed in she'd still snooze a lot but we get the full Greta Garbo soulful look.

I had a friend who had a cocker spaniel and had a sign out side her front door that read 'Spoiled Rotten Dog' (it was) perhaps you should get one for your cat.

Viv., when Paddy first came to live with us, I couldn't stand to see his little face watch me leave, so I gave him treats which kept him busy while I walked out the door.

He's much better now, because he knows I'm coming back soon.

Hello Misti Smile

A word of advice: Stay away from pet shops!!!!! I made the same mistake as you. Visited a pet shop on one of my regular morning walks a few weeks ago .... and there I saw a delightful little group of playful tabbies, of all colours. Very Happy
Here's the problem: I kept dropping in to say hello & noticed that the ginger tabby (getting bigger quite quickly) had not been bought, but most of the others had. Last week I dropped in again (after vowing not to, because I was starting to feel very sad & responsible for poor Ginger) & there he was again! Still homeless. Sad Now I'm worried about him! Why doesn't someone give him a home? And I certainly can't afford too, right now .... I have my hands (& purse strings!) tied looking after Flatty. But I feel so sorry for poor Ginger! What happens to kittens who turn into cats If no one wants them? Sad I wish I'd never set foot into that place!

Msolga, it's too bad you can't have the two kitties at the moment ... but look on the bright side, maybe someone else wants that kitten desperately and is trying to get up the money to buy it;)

Hugs, Jen

Hello, Misti Very Happy

I peeked in on Friday during my walk. Hmmmmmm ... had decided not to look again, but you know how it goes ...? Rolling Eyes Yep, STILL THERE! Sad
I'm decided I'm going to ask the pet shop owners what they intend to do with poor Ginger if they can't sell him/her. Hopefully s/he'll get out of that cage soon.
