I have operated forklifts before, but I don't intend to get a job if I have to use one now. I don't trust my judgement that much.

I have banana trees in front and back yards. About every three years, they produce some very small fruit. My dog delights in destroying them, but they grow like weeds.

Hey, neato! Do you eat the bananas, or is it just decorative?

The bananas usually develope so late in the season they don't have time to ripen. Too many tall pines blocking the sun.

Those pine trees scare the bejabbers out of me, when it storms. I would get rid of them all, were it my choice.

Went back on glucosamine/chondroiten (sp?), on Sturday. My knees are already improved, noticeably.

I've heard of this stuff and checked it out at one point for joint pain. I'm glad it's working for you.

I never pursued and used it, as I thought it may be "too unproven".

I used this stuff a few year ago, and it worked very well. But, when I quit having problems, quit using it. It also improved my arm mobility and they no longer were painful.

I had arthritis in my knees from the tender age of 23 until I was 37. I used to be a distance runner and spent many months in the mountains hiking. This caused the arthritis. The pain in my knees was constant. When I was 37 I was in a lot of pain after playing tennis the day before and I went into a natural food market and asked if they had anything for my ailment. A young clerk recommended the glucosamine/chondroitin. It was $50 a bottle back then but I was desperate. Within a week of taking it the pain in my knees was gone! I took it faithfully for about 3 years then gradually weaned myself off. I am now 48 and have not had a day of pain in over 10 years. I can run and hike again. For me, the stuff works!

It definitely works for me. I need it constantly, because I walk hard, all day long, get up and down and climb lots of stairs.
