I read this article that said that 97% of all that oppose illegal immigration are members of the KKK, I did not write those numbers, nor did I research them. I found the article interesting is why I posted it.

What if the illegal criminals and drug dealers went home, well, they could stay there.

That would be progress.

Are there any legal criminals?

Well, that would get rid of the Republicans, Okie. I have to admit that you've finally posted something sensible. And yes, that would be a progress of sorts but you've done way too much damage already to countries of the world so shipping the Republicans out would just be compounding the problems.

Besides, who would want a bunch of thieves and scoundrels?

If you want to include criminals that are citizens as well, which you seem to be wanting to do, we would at least not have to worry about Hillary running this election. Her and her husband would be in jail somewhere, and so would her campaign manager and many of her contributors and fund raisers.

The use of "gangs" in right wing propaganda is very interesting.

I remember in the eighties... the right wingers were all upset about welfare, drug use and parole.

At this time every gang you heard of was a black gang. We even had black youths in the streets "wilding" (do you remember wilding?). I remember when Willie Horton epitomized what good white Americans were afraid of.

Funny thing how gangs have changed in exactly the way the right wing fear machine wants them to.

A more likely statistic would be that 97% of the KKK are opposed to illegal immigration. Perhaps someone misread or misquoted the statistic.

3% seems like an awfully high estimate.

There seems to be a question about the exact number. I would suggest someone ask Robert Byrd to clarify it.

I would, but Senator Byrd is too busy fighting compassionate immigration bills and railing against "amnesty".

Ironic isn't it.

Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, "Mexican visitor's lament" -- 10/25/07.

She interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said,

"They (illegal aliens) pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes...what happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?"

That's just one sentence from that article.

Here's the context:

Quote:
She wishes the $500 million sought by President Bush to help Mexico fight drug traffickers could go to education. The solution to illegal immigration is education, she says.

"The huge job for (Mexican president Felipe) Calderon is to create opportunities for his people in his country. The 20 million people here illegally, sure, they send money home, but most of it, they spend here. They pay rent, they buy groceries, they buy clothes, they pay taxes every single day. And what happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?

"I know they go to school and they use services, but it's not free and it's ignorance to suggest Mexican people here receive everything free. They are making money for this country without any rights, without a single right. Nuestras mejores manos, las más trabajadoras, están aqu'. Our best hands are working here. We miss them. We need them."

The comments ... well:
Quote:

"Tina you are still a Mexican/Latino racist pig. Go back to to Mexico!!"

Suporters of illegal immigration are the same ones who want to take away your guns. They are all criminals - that is why they support what they do. Allowing unrestrained border crossings while disarming the American populace makes it easier for them to further their one-world socialist agenda.

cjhsa, your blanket statements never cease to amaze me. I don't get how your mind thinks to wind up with statements like:

"Suporters of illegal immigration are the same ones who want to take away your guns. "

People who want gun registration or a gun ban are 'criminals'? That is just pure nonsense.

And what the heck does this mean:

"They are all criminals - that is why they support what they do."

Total nonsense.

It most is certainly a crime. It's a crime against the rugged individualism that built the USA and remains its cornerstone. There are many of us that would do just fine if all government ceased to exist. I know what's right and wrong - I don't need a collective government to make up their version.

You thinking I'm dumb and nasty is a compliment. That your little mind doesn't comprehend what I'm saying is no surprise.

Let me see if I can simplify it for you. Anybody that WANTS illegals here has a vested interest in them being here.

You may be wrong: both vestire and inter- esse are Latin, a language cjhsa knows excellently (at least American Latin), he says.
