Remember that ad of Mike Gravel's, with the sea and the pebble and the beach and him just looking, and looking, and looking, and nothing said?

Yeah?

You thought that was weird?

Check out this new Nader/Gonzalez '08 ad.

To be or not to be ... a panda.

The Minnesota Republicans, defending incumbent Sen. Coleman and targeting challenger Al Franken, are giving their counterparts in Oregon a run for their money when it comes to airing ads that are, charitably put, exceptionally hard-hitting.

@Cycloptichorn,
I wouldn't call it "good." It feeds right into the mentality seen in some of Palin's rally attendees.

It's probably funnier if you are familiar with the long-running series of commercials featuring the guy -

@nimh,

Tonight's 30 minute infomercial / propaganda piece should rank as the #1 POS to ever hit TV and cable.

Not the selection I'd make, but an entertaining enough memory trip - and how very long ago it all seems already!

Especially the primary stuff, Will.i.am, that kind of thing - already like from a different era. When we thought things couldn't possibly get worse than Bush had already made it, Iraq still seemed like the most acute problem at hand, and there was no talk yet of a global economic crisis to outshadow everything seen since the 1930s.

@MASSAGAT,
My only regret is that he's not doing it fast enough by half...

I would expect such a response from an expatriate who did not have the courage or the talent to make his way in the USA and instead went to the European Socialist Countries to suck on the government teat.

Did you get steamrollered by competitors when you were in the USA, Nimh?

You probably got suckered by your left wing professors at Vassar!
