@Thomas,
Ha...I just asked you what that Watson FBI! Banshee, eh?
@farmerman,
farmerman wrote:AMISH MAFIA??? cmon, thats not 1/3 as believable as Pulp Fiction
Maybe not, but who cares about believability?
Pulp Fiction wasn't exactly a PBS documentary itself
@farmerman,
On a tangent, Farmerman, when are you going to blow up your next mountain? I'd still like to see how it's done.
@dlowan,
True Blood - True Blood - True Blood
I used to hate that show till season 2 but it is not that crappy after all, well that's if you are in the bloody-fantasy series and if you have no problem with nudity or sex. You will totaly enjoy it and it has 6 seasons, 7th is coming out on June and it's gonna be the last one.
xoxo have fun:]
@DavinaTheUnicorn,
Well **** me, a talking unicorn.
Been and done and watched me a lot of Trueblood.
@tsarstepan,
Love me that Dwarf. It's all in the wit and the attitude with me.
@McTag,
I was reeled in a bit for a while, but Kev loves it.
My current addiction is to the CBS series The Good Wife. It centers around Alicia Florick, a middle-aged lawyer, mother of two teenagers, and wife of a somewhat sleazy but charismatic politician who cheats on her, but whom she stays together with for career reasons. I like this series because the lawyer side of it is very good at keeping up with contemorary problems around technology, police-state overreach, and so forth. At the same time, the teenager- and marriage trouble keeps it grounded. It's definitely on par with the series on HBO and Showtime these days.
@Thomas,
I've seen a couple of episodes but never been able to stay awake! I keep hearing how good it is. Must try again.
@dlowan,
I'm enjoying Master of None on Netflix. Yes, I have Netflix. Blush. Also enjoying rewatching Mad Men and some other stuff.
Longmire, Broadchurch, LUTHER!!!, The Fall ,<---disturbing and sexy, yo
The Killing <---disturbiing and NOT sexy, Louis CK, Wallender
@Lash,
Most of those are not HBO.
Wallander and
Luther are BBC,
Broadchurch is ITV, and
The Killing is a cheap knock off of a Danish classic.
@Lash,
The thread above mine was mentioning what she watched on Netflix, so I mentioned what I watched on Netflix.
@Lash,
Or you were doing what you usually do, crediting Americans for other countries' output.
@izzythepush,
This thread moved beyond HBO ages ago.
@izzythepush,
LOL. You had to reach really far for that. What a miserable, pinched-off little man you must be to troll about so desperately for something to argue about.
Live alone, don't you.
@Lash,
So, no apology to the BBC, or ITV, or DR?
I don't know where all this nastiness has come from, but it doesn't change anything.
@izzythepush,
When you get apologies of all the posters who cited other networks / sources before me, I'll....still think you have your head up your ass.
