Turn ons:

1) Nice hair
2) Warm, friendly smile and manner
3) Intelligence
4) Sense of humor
5) Slappy Doo Hoo

Turn offs:

1) Whining (I agree with dagmarka about this one! Huge turn-off!)
2) Being a know-it-all
3) Staring

Re: the staring. I once went out to lunch with some friends, and there was this guy there that I hadn't met before. He was a nice guy, but he kept staring at me the whole time, while I was eating my salad. I could see him staring out of the corner of my eye. I began to wonder if I had lettuce caught between my teeth or something.

I suppose it was a compliment, but it was sorta creepy. I mean, would you want someone to stare at you (especially while you're eating)?

I just want to know the top 5 things a female looks for in appearance and in personality in a prospective partner.

and what are your top 5 "turn-offs"?

Tall, in shape, preferably no facial hair and little body hair, dark, balding is ok, but prefer not, that said, appearance is not all that important except I like a man who takes care of himself, turn-offs are missing teeth, poor grooming although scrufffy-chic OK[

Smile, say something sincere and witty.

Well, yes, at times, I might turn down George Clooney.

Whats the worst way a man has tried to hit on you?

"Hey baby, what's your name?"

Last night, I met John Sebastian of the Lovin Spoonful at the Emmie Lou Harris concert. We danced (actually he tried to dance) I thought he might be hitting on me and I tried to strike up a conversation with no luck but I got tongue tied, it was difficult conversing in that atmosphere, this is the second time we have met but I don't think he recalled the first time, he was what I call "scruffy-chic" jeans, casual almost sloppy, three day beard growth, it works for him.
