Okay, tresspassers, I'll not bite -- there was an end to that sentence. Does anyone here need more instruction and direction in the technique of the good salesperson? Dubya gets his usual Cee.

I like the earlier reference to Springtime for Hitler, and an appropriately scantily clad chorus line goosestepping would be very much appreciated by me . . .

I do hope you'll forgive me if I found something good in what you wrote. Are you really disappointed that I didn't have a complaint?

There really are a lot of tantalizing options here, but thinking of them has reminded me of a wonderful Andrew LLoyd Webber story too good not to pass on.

Webber was attending a party and, standing with a lyricist (unknown), a third person came up and very quickly got into a kerfuffle with Webber's ego. When that third person left them, Webber rhetorically asked the lyricist, "Why do people take an instant dislike to me?" To which the lyricist replied, "Because it saves them time."

Many of you are very funny today. Nice to see everyone in a good mood, discussing the anticipated Blah Blah Blah from our old friend George and his writers and directors tonight. There will be free American flags at the door, but no room for critical thinking. Thanks Blatham, Setanta, Timber, LW and all for attempting to add a little thought process to an otherwise very dull evening.

Hi perception, it's nice to be here and to see you too. But I'm not "back," exactly, it's just that I'm usually reading and neglecting comment.

Snood,

You are too sweet and present us with a fine example of critical thinking, but no...I better not give it all away.

Lola

I think you would rather not participate in politics in a serious manner so how about starting a thought provoking thread under philosophy and debate? Your thoughts in this area are extremely valuable and you have been neglectful in this area.

Oh dear, I fear I've interrupted the pleasant flow of discussion (well, not exactly pleasant all the time.) I apologize. Must be the avatar. Always showing off, looking for attention. I'll now wilt back into the wall paper and read.

Perception, I'll send a PM.

Lola, as far as I'm concerned, you're welcome in this bar anytime. I think ya even "Class the place up" a bit. If anybody gets rude, go ahead and spill a drink on 'em ... accidental-like, you know?

You guys do seem to have stopped arguing....it's actually pleasant around here. Maybe a little distraction was in order. Thanks c.i., very much appreciated.

Stevie,

It's so true. We must get back to fighting now.

I think it means a general preference for well-turned legs over poorly defined wars.
