sue, your situation calls for serious cauldron reciting incantations plus a Sambian Blessing. Very Happy Thermals and mittens a good idea also.

Hi Ya Teeny! Glad you dropped by to say 'hi'. Smile

Happy Halloween, wildclikers!

Stradee,

I will do something serious tonight. Wish I had the neighborhood kids to play into it, but everyone got frightened a couple of years ago, and now go to the mall to trick or treat. That's according to a couple of neighbors. Now if it were a full moon also, then the strength would multiply exponentially.

If all goes according to plan, the weatherization people will be back this a.m. to finish what they started, the furnace crew will show up this afternoon to go under the house to demolish old furnace and duct work, and my fuel tank may or may not be delivered. Then, tomorrow the new furnace goes in, duct work up, hook up to hopefully then delivered fuel tank, and I will have HEAT.

That is the plan at least.

Sue, Invocating higher delivery spirits!

A bit out of sorts - visiting the doc - back pain hampering my ability for physical work at the job, and at home the past month. Today and tomorrow resting though - hoping the doc diagnosis the prob. Over the counter meds are no longer manageing the pain, nor are specific exercises for back alignment.

Dancing nekked under the full moon definitely not an option. Asking the covan to conjure a good spell so the work at your house is completed before you freeze to death!

Cauldren has the correct amount of herbs and spices - tomorrow brings a better day! Very Happy

Adding bits of bat fur (not the whole thing) to cauldron to help with Stradee's back and sumac's heatlessness.

Adding "bits and lots" of witch and warlock hope and luck to save more Rain Forest.

MA and I have clicked.

Stradee,

Back problems.... Crying or Very sad Chiropractor, massage, acupuncture? Hopefully no disc problems. Tell the herd to dance for you, nekkid in the living room, safe and sound.

aww, good goin' Dan!

sue, i've tried yoga, walking, stretching, motrin, and none of the exercises or pain meds are doing much good. Not certain what the doc will advise tomorrow - perhaps muscle relaxers - I just don't know. My medical insurance doesn't cover Chiropractor or acupuncture though.

The babies are happy when i'm at home ~ your suggestion just might work! ^..^

No furnace yet, but fuel tank delivered. Crew didn't come to take out old furnace but ducts got (I want to say upholstered) insulated, so all is ready for them. Battery on fancy generator to blow insulation into the attic was dead so that didn't get done yet.

Finished planting plants waiting to go in the ground. Now I am tempted to buy more....and we are not allowed to do any outside watering. How stupid am I? Have to sneak out in the dark to water anything. Jeesh.

That's right!!! You all are having a water shortage alert! Good God, sue!

Lets add more fixin's to the cauldron before Halloween ends! An Eagles feather for speedy battery recharge, and a ravens feather for the furnace folk! The raindance feetsies directions are somewhere on one of the rainforest threads - and chanting works too!

Ok, althogether now....i'll ommmmmmmmmm ~ and you all dance!

Be sure and bring a flaslight for midnight garden watering. Shocked Very Happy

Thanks for the update, ehBeth......

sumac, and, Stradee, and, everyone else - I am a blood brother to an Apache Nation Native American.... It made me so proud to be invited.

We must all do a Native American dance for sumac (just stand up an wiggle while thinking about her) - that's all it takes..

Listening to a Robert Goulet tribute on the radio. <sigh> I love that voice, and he always seemed like such a pleasant, humourous guy. He'll be missed.

sue, hope the rains arrive soon, cause Stradee can't hobble dance ~ however, i can still chant! Very Happy

Robert Goulet died? Crying or Very sad

Poor Pattie! Owie

Teeny, say a prayer for the Rainforests too! Bless your heart.

Saw the doc, x-rays, will begin physical therapy three days per week, then an MRI. Off work 3 days - so far - 9 days more at home and will see the doc again the 8th. X-rays showed where the lower spine bone shifted, could be the cause of the leg spasms and pain. That and the bone spurs. jeese Or when the shift occurred, somehow a nerve ending got zapped. Will know more after physical therapy, and MRI. Three prescribed meds - two for pain, one muscle relaxer.
"No lifting or bending", said the doc.
Impossible, but I'll attempt following the docs instructions.

Just arrived home a few minutes ago, a very long day - after doc visit, brought paperwork to the store - shopped for groceries - filled prescriptions - paycheck to the bank - quick call to daughter and sib - took one pain pill and one muscle relaxer - and now i can bend an pick up kitten food bowls! Very Happy

Oh, doc says me blood pressures high. No wonder!
