Seminars For Gurus In Training

Reply Thu 20 Sep, 2007 09:08 am
A2K's newest "Guru in Training" is spendius. This made me wonder exactly what kind of training does A2K provide?

I am particularly concerned that spendius gets as much instruction as possible. What seminars or online education should someone like spendius participate in?

As you can find this on the internet :"Seminar Gurus Fabricate and Stretch the Truth", better not attend seminars...

What you should do wande is lie down in a quiet room with subdued lighting and a Barry Manilow album playing on low volume and get a nurse to apply cool damp cloths to your brow. Your concern will dissipate in infinitessimal gradations at the quantum level over a reasonably short period of time.

I am notoriously averse to training. It is to that characteristic that I owe all my travelling experiences. My best pal Brian, who was of a like disposition, and myself, were posted all over the place, sometimes at very short notice, due to our wearing out of the patience of the non-connissioned officer class which is a fairly nebulous group composed exclusively of wankers.

It seems you have already started your training, spendi. Your advice sounds very guru-like. However, your choice of a Barry Manilow album indicates there is still much more training ahead of you.

That's a good topic for Spendi!

Whiffle while you wank,
(Tra la la la la la)
Put on that grin and start right in to whiffle loud and long
(Tra la la la la la)
Just hum a merry tune
(Tra la la la la la)
Just do your best and take a rest and push and pull your dong!

Squishie-squashie squnchtail
Had a little finger flail
Ooops eh. Ooops eh.
All fall out.

Dwollie had a yikkle flan
She kept it in a bucket
And everywhere that Dwollie went
Not a soul would suck it.

Hickory dickery flock
Dwollie's down the dock
She struck but once
But 'twas a ponce
Hiiccuppy diccuppy Jock.

Hey diddle diddle
The cat's at the fiddle
Dwollie's attempting a swoon
The Gitties all laughed
To see such puns
And the dish ran away much to soon.

Little daddy scorner
Sat in his corner
Eating his turds in a pie
He dipped in his thumb
Said "yumyumyumyum
What a bright boy am I."

Hey- I like this game. Thanks for inviting me.

Today's Guest Lecturer is Setanta, another famous Guru in Training. Setanta is an expert on "Courtesy".

Setanta wrote:
By the way, i found E_brown's remark about holding doors to be pretty idiotic. I hold doors for anyone who is close behind me, regardless of gender. When it comes to small children or the elderly, who may have difficulty with a heavy door, i open it, and stand back to let them pass. It's a courtesy, and it shows the kind of consideration which i hope others will show to me (if, for example, my arms were full). As for holding a door for a woman, that was how i was raised, and it has the added advantage of allowing some eye contact and at the least, a brief flirt.

GIT's don't flirt.

They are above all that nonsense.

Gurus are ascetic. Other worldly and above crude animal carnality.

i don't think flirting is nonsense.

if it turns out that it is nonsense, then post #24,999 will be my very last post on these boards...
