Taking lost of painkillers. I'll report in when my head is less fuzzy. Clear enough to know that I'm home. Getting lots of error messages from A2K.
T'was a surreal and unpleasant experience.
More later.
Thanks to each and every one of you for having me in you thoughts and for caring. If I'd been capable of having thoughts, I'd have been in them too.

Roberta--
You survived! I'm so glad.
Furthermore, your trepidations were unfortunately accurate.
When you've recovered a bit, we'll all assemble under the yardarm for the Whole Sordid Story.
Hold your dominion.

Not concerned that I missed the martinis (I don't drink). But annoyed that I missed the noshing. The white fish salad sounds good, relatively speaking.

Oh man it's good to see ya!
Now that I know you're OK my patience is replenished and I can wait quite a while for the full account -- but I look forward to it.
Sorry bout the continued need for painkillers though... take care.

Gosh, Boidy, how we worried. It turns out the worry was justifid. You have such bad asthma that is is always a deadly ogre lurking in the background. All that matter now is that you're home.
Gentle hugs to you and a more squeezy hug for Phyllis.
I hope you appreciate how much you are loved here on a2k. You are one of the best and brightest.
Lo ya, Boidy

A few disjointed responses.
Phyllis wasn't with me going home. Another friend took her place.
mac, Asthma not entirely under control. Nothing is entirely under control.
Feh on the whole thing.
BTW, Diane, I was at the same jernt. Doesn't matter. You would not have been able to reach me by phone. Don't ask. All will be explained in due time.
