@Izzie,
Schlep can be used a verb as well as a noun. (trip, journey)
"We had to schlep the bags for eight blocks."
There can be those who schlep.
"I joined the other schleppers on the street, a bag in each and every hand. Nobody waved. Nobody could."

There can be a gerund.
"Harvey wanted to know, since you are schlepping those two suits over, maybe you could stop and pick up a small cheesecake?"

There might be a nomative past pluperfect.
"I shall have been .... ."
Joe(but no one has ever heard anyone use it.)Nation

I intend to visit Roberta this evening, if I can make it, and if Roberta still is in the hospital then. I thought it might be a nice idea to bring her a printout of this thread after her last post . So if you want me to relay a message to her at the hospital, feel free to post it here until about 5pm.

Beth, when you contacted the hospital, did they tell you Roberta's station, room number, and visiting hours? If so, could you e-mail them to me? If not, don't worry -- I'll figure it out myself.

@Thomas,
1. Thomas - please give Roberta a kiss for me, Brenda and Eugenie.
2. Roberta - please give Thoemass a kiss for me.
3. I don't have your email Thomas, so I can't send you the bit of info I do have - however, the hospital number is 212-263-7300. They gave me the room number.

Roberta - love you. I hope everyone's taking good care of you. Sending you smooches and hugs - more than Thomas can carry.

Thanks! My e-mail is in my profile. To actually use it, you'll have to solve a little puzzle that's hard for spambots, but should be easy for you. Hey, you like puzzles anyway!
