Noddy, These ladies can have their tea, but would you join me in a Pomegranate martini?

I brought some grapes for Roberta--and some extra for her well-wishers.

Did anyone ever demand peeled grapes in real life?

Swimpy--

We must have been posting at the same time.

The sailor is home from the sea and the sun is over the yardarm.

Please mix (or is it stir?) a Pomegranate Martini. It looks delicious.

NEVER stirred. Shaken.

I'll have one myself while we wait for the convalescent.

Certainly, and I'll join you, although the sun hasn't passed the yardarm here yet. Well, you won't tell, will ya..

Hell, you don't even have yardarms out there, do ya? Here's a glass, have a seat.

There must be a yardarm somewhere here in the desert, but who cares? A pomegranite martini sounds like heaven.

Please pass the canapes.

Joining the waiting game with a mug of Earl Grey. I suppose it will be hours before we hear how Roberta's doing? (Or tomorrow?)

Osso--

Your canape menu leaves a body spoiled for choice.

*******

I'm hoping Roberta asked someone to keep the A2K well-wishers posted.

Canapes and Roberta. This reminds me of a program we were watching last night, about very deep sea diving. They showed what looked like a shrimp inside a transparent olive. A naturally occurring canape!

It seems to have been a parasitic amphipod:

Not necessarily a beauty but certainly interesting.

I will gladly partake of a pomegranate something or other, thank you, you're very kind.

Oms continue.

Until I looked up 'canape', I didn't know that it is also a type of furniture -

Not too comfy looking. Boida will probably prefer the snack canapes when she feels better..

I've brought a big bowl of pomegranate-pear soy nuts.

I think I'll be ready for a tamarind cocktail soon.
