Surgery--Again

Good tidings (whatever the hell they are) to all you guys.

I had my sixth-month follow-up mammogram today. All is well. Now I can start taking care of business that's been on hold. Teeth.

I found out why Joanie hasn't visited with the dogs. (I miss dem dawgs something fierce. My psychiatrist said I need a dog visit.)

Joanie had knee surgery.
Her mother had brain surgery.
Her brother (who was terminally ill) committed suicide.

My heart breaks for her.

Although she's basically incommunicado, she managed to get a message to me. She'll be back eventually.

That's awful. I do hope she is ok. What a big bloody heap of Scheiss to fall on her.

I feel terrible saying it, but I am glad there is good reason why she disappeared because it means she will be back with the dogs.

Do let her know, when you can, that there are people all over the world wishing her well.

You guys are all major-league good kids. I'll relate your good wishes and sympathy to Joanie when I see her.

Do you guys remember Sheila. She posted for me when I had brain surgery. Good news. She's a first-time grandma to a little boy.
