Just been reading some of this thread - strewth, you've been through a lot since it started! Don't blame you one whit for appropriating the hospital booties, they'd have been discarded anyway.

I have a hospital appointment on Tuesday, almost certainly followed by a biopsy, then - if skin cancer is found - there will be an operation. Thank goodness for the NHS! There may be a lot of flaws in the system, but it's free. It must be very stressful to have to foot a bill at the end of any treatment - poor you!

I hope you're feeling a lot better now. How's the throat?

Vonny, The throat is definitely feeling better. I'll get the results of the biopsy on Tuesday.

My father had skin cancer. I'm checked for it regularly. I'm wishing you well with your biopsy. In this case a negative result is a good thing.

Healthcare costs in this country are a national shame. I used to be a middle class person with some disposable income. Now I'm poor. At least I haven't been dunned for money lately.

I must admit it was rather a shock to be told that I might have it. Not surprised though - I've always been a sun lover and never stopped to think about the consequences of sunbathing and failing to wear sunscreen. Nervous about what might be found when I go next week, but feel a bit better now I've shared it via A2K - it does help!

Not terrible. Breathing. Eating. No throat pain. Still choking a bit on some stuff.

A noivous wreck about getting the results on Tuesday.

Have been channelling you with your Beautiful Animals...strength to you. I can feel how noivous you about tomorrow so I iz sending you hugs and hoping so much that tomorrow will bring good news.

She did, and had problems with it. That's why I went back through the thread to find the foods that helped her last time.

She needs soft foods with a little texture to them.

I'll be leaving for the hospital in a few minutes.
