Surgery--Again

Roberta, I haven't read the posts following this one yet, but Wednesday seems so soon! Especially since they say it's not an emergency.

You need the time to digest this latest information. Then you'll be in some position to think clearly about possible surgery & when it might actually happen. You need the time to think, & to figure out every single question & receive answers to every one of them, about this surgery, before deciding what happens next ... & when it might happen.

As Noddy would have said, hold your dominion, Roberta. Hang in there!

The surgery is now scheduled for the beginning of October. I needed time to fulfill work commitments. I just left a message that if I don't speak to a doctor to answer all my questions, I won't have the surgery. I was assured I'd get a call.

Whew.

I'm kinda withdrawn. Don't feel much like talking or socializing. I'm focusing on work and getting a lot done. I had to give up a big job. Too much chance that it would take too long. I coulda used the big paycheck.

I'm seeing my depression therapist tomorrow. Brace yourself, lady.

Thanks, again, you guys. You really a source of strength for me.

My cousin wrote to tell me that every time he gets one of my "medical updates," he vows to stop kvetching and whining and complaining about minor aches and pains. His wife is grateful.

Bethie, please give that Goiman guy a gigantic hug for me. He's been instructed to give one to you.

You are handling all this quite well - I'm sure, your 'depression therapist' can give you some help, too.

Excellent! Anytime they won't answer questions, assume they don't know the answers, or have something to hide.

A doctor called to talk to me and answer questions. I wasn't around. I called back twice and am still waiting for the return-return call.

Hope that call comes thru tomorrow goil.
