@Roberta,
Everything is looking up. I wish you had somebody competent to do some of the advocacy work for you. Absolutely you shou;d qualify for disability and you should have qualified for a long time now. Check in at any social security office and you see people in far less dire situations than you have had to endure who breeze right through the system.

Anyhow, still baby steps......or........... s - l - o - w - l - y...... y - o - u ........ t - u - r - n,....... s - t - e - p....... by ........ s - t - e - p . . . .

But you'll still get there.

So glad you went and saw someone Boida - you should have been offered counselling a long time ago - thing is, not that you don't know this already, but you've been thru a HUGE deal - it's been pants and it still is pants in a lot of ways - but........

Albeit silently - can hear a change in you... really can.

Can't wait to have a telephone conversation with you - I know, may be a while yet - mind you, that could bring back the earache - hohoho! Wink

hugs goil..... bigguns. x

@Roberta,
Hey now!

I think you should be on disability too and am so glad you have someone right there fighting for it. It's really a shame but I've seen it so often that I almost wonder if it's a purposeful screening policy -- people getting turned down the first, second, even third time they try and then finally, finally getting approval (even though nothing about their situations have changed). First try seems rare.

Very glad about the $2 prescription, too.

@Roberta,
What do you mean, nope? Don't make me come to Manhattan and take you out to a kosher deli.

Save your carfare, kiddo. I don't observe the holidays. Second, I doubt that kosher delis are open this week. Third, should I ever be able to tolerate mustard and sour pickles, I've got plans with my friend Sue to go to the Second Avenue Deli.

However, there's more than one kosher deli in town. I'm game for any and all. Just not now. Don't wanna waste being there if I can't eat there.

@ehBeth,
Thanks for the corrected spelling, Bethie. But that's not how I make matzo brei. Not how anyone I know who makes matzo brei would make matzo brei.

In a woid, feh.

But thanks for the link.

My bad, Bethie. I should have looked further. None of the ways shown is the way I know, although some are closer than others. Didn't look through all 100.) Obviously, matzo brei is a very individual thing. But I still say feh to the first way. Misses the whole point, IMO.

@Roberta,
Well, if you have any leftovers, feel free to send them to me a Care Package. I must be enlightened in the One True Vey of making matzo brei.
