Yup..I have 9 wins so far also but still stay were I was relative to Cowdoc, the leader. I have next week to gain ground, but think there's little chance of that, unless I can predict the upsets...(right..fat chace as I hadn't been able to so far). This week I had actually REVERSED the logic on my picks and tried to pick the Buffalo/Giants and Philly/SAINTS upset and failed miserably.

Cowdoc looks uncatchable. Ragman must choose like a wiseman next week or Jack (ltx) Frosty (ehbeth) could catch up. I jump over osso and into a tie with ci at 5th. If I can make some intelligent picks (an oxymoron for me) I could finish higher.

rjb, "intelligent picks" is an oxymoron. Who wudda guessed that a) Bears will trounse the Packers, and b) the 49ers would beat the Bucs?


Sure glad I didn't pick the Raiders on sentiment.

End of the 3rd Quarter: 23-3 San Diego. 26 points scored so ehbeth gets a lump of coal and imur and rjb are next to go down unless the plane load of locusts I'll be dropping can keep the score down in the 4th.

Good point, Rockhead. Some teams are hitting on all cylinders and can afford to slack off and even lose a game. Others, like the Steelers, are not playing that well and have some key injuries They have to keep playing hard.
