A big, big game for San Diego ain't gonna do it. You're assuming the game is gonna produce about 2 TDs per quarter. Not many games with that many TDs - even in big, big games.
Pates fans have seen it happen a few times already --
week 6 at Cowboys 48-27 (75 points, 9 TD's)
week 7 at Dolphins 49-28 (77 points, 11 TD's)
week 11 at Bills 56-10 (66 points, 9 TD's)
You're right, of coarse. But we're really talking about San Diego, and not New England.
