thanks, JPB. I will say that if even one person objects to allowing my picks, it should not happen. This is a fun game with some great people participating....so I would never want to have any feathers ruffled.

I don't object to Raggy's picks being included - quite the contrary, that is what I'm hoping for.

I simply didn't think that voting would be how the decision would be made.

But if comments are part of it, and I can see that on reconsideration, I'll pipe up and say I've known him years and years and he is honest and true.

uhh, I'm cool with it - as long as someone promises to remind me that I need to do something earlier this week.

(or give me a clue what I'm picking from - where do I find the schedules?)

I'm glad JPB mentioned it, as I've gotten used to no Thursdays, and, duh, this one having games makes sense.

I'll make my picks while slicing onions...

By the way, with this being Thanksgiving week in the U.S., there are 3 games scheduled for Thursday. So folks will need to see the schedule and make their picks much earlier than usual.

Week 12

This week's criteria for selection is whichever team's stadium is ranked higher (see: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/nfl/11/01/fvi.intro/index.html) is the favored team. With one exception.

THU, NOV 22
Green Bay at Detroit 12:30 PM Packers (their stadium ranked #1, BTW; Detroit was #4)
NY Jets at Dallas 4:15 PM Dallas (the Jets were dead last, Dallas was #26)
Indianapolis at Atlanta 8:15 PM Colts (#8) over Falcons (#29)

SUN, NOV 25
Seattle at St. Louis 1:00 PM Seahawks (#7) over Rams (#27)
Minnesota at NY Giants 1:00 PM Giants (#25) over the Vikes (#31)
Buffalo at Jacksonville 1:00 PM Jags (#12) over Bills (#15)
New Orleans at Carolina 1:00 PM Panthers (#10) over Saints (#18)
Washington at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM Bucs (#17) over Redskins (#28)
Houston at Cleveland 1:00 PM Cleveland (#3) over Texans (#14)
Tennessee at Cincinnati 1:00 PM Titans (#9) over Bengals (#19)
Oakland at Kansas City 1:00 PM Chiefs (#16) over Raiders (#21)
San Francisco at Arizona 4:05 PM Cardinals (#24) over 49ers (#30)
Baltimore at San Diego 4:15 PM Ravens (#5) over Chargers (#22)
Denver at Chicago 4:15 PM Broncs (#13) over Bears (#20)
Philadelphia at New England 8:15 PM BUT New England (#11) over Eagles (#6) because Mama didn't raise no foo'

MON, NOV 26
Miami at Pittsburgh 8:30 PM Steelers (#2) over the woeful Dolphins (#23) with a skeery total of 41

Please let the record show that I never argued for or against Ragmans's inclusion. I simply said that, from my perspective as a former administrator, it is in this case JPB's call to write and enforce the rules as she feels fit.

Ragman and I exchanged a few emails about this. I think he understands where I am coming from. I never did and never will challenge his integrity.

Most of us here don't know one end of a football from the other. This a a mindless game for folks who are pretty much cluesless. I don't intend to make anything more of it then that.

By the way, JPB, please note that Ragman went 12-3, not 11-4. He picked wrong with Baltimore, Detroit and Pittsburgh. He gains another step, as do Cowdoc and Ehbeth, on Johnboy.

RJB, chill. You are honorable, wholesome, and among friends.....
(of all the A2Kers I haven't met in person, you are in my top 5)

Ragman has bigger fish to fry than thread bragging rights.
I think we all agree JPB did right.

I am picking the patsies til the end, but we should pick who will beat them......someone will, or Don Shula is gonna have an aneurism.

BTW Reg, Kornheiser agreees with you..... Shocked

JPB and RJB did a fine job with all this (I hope no one thought I was complaining in any way). Thanks to all for their patience with this matter. I'm sure that this fluke thing that happened won't happen again. I won't post picks from my g/f's. FWIW, in the future I will check to make sure that it shows up after I post the picks, too.
