Thanks, osso, I'm hoping a Saints win will make Voodoo Fest even more festive
Oh, yeah, JPB, you told me about this Pagan thing you participate in every year in New Orleans. Have a bloody good time.
Leave the A2K NFL studio unlocked and filled with snacks. We'll try not to trash the place.

That would be a picture! Actually, it's the fall version of Jazz Fest -- three days of music, one weekend, less food on-site. It features much more funk than jazz and blues, but I'll take any excuse to spend a long weekend in NOLA.
Thanks for holding down the fort.

In a purely sporting way, of course.
Is this third person, I hate third person.
Thanks for the early picks -- we've got everyone except CowDoc, jpin, osso, and panzade.
Indianapolis (15) Carolina (2) -- ci, Pantelones
Detroit (6) Chicago (11)
Pittsburgh (14) Cincinnati (3)
NY Giants (13) Miami (4)
Philadelphia (6) Minnesota (11)
Cleveland (13) St. Louis (4)
Oakland (1) Tennessee (16) -- ci
Buffalo (7) NY Jets (10)

Jacksonville (12) Tampa Bay (5)
Washington (1) New England (16) -- Tico
New Orleans (11) San Francisco (6)
Green Bay (14) Denver (3)
I picked the Raiders because they beat the Titans last year 34/25. Also, this year's scoring is close, and the allowed points gives the Tittans a small advantage, but "what the hell!" Gotta root for the home team.
I picked the Redskins because I think there's a chance Tom Brady is going to be involved in a car accident on his way to the game.

Not me! It also happens that Ragman posts his picks after mine. Week-to-week changes in stats influences my choices - with some adjustments for averages per game scores and allowed, and how they did at their last match-up.
Simple strategy; no following of other a2kers needed - or required.
I get my picks from the ghost of Knute Rockne who mysteriously looks like Ronald Reagan
I have met Cicerone Imposter. He actually does bear a resemblance to Ronald Reagan, Ragman.
I'll skip that interesting question for right now.
I need to post picks and really supremely don't give a sh/t about those few I wondered about*, so I'll just fling, since I still can't sleep yet..

hmmm...?!
Seems that the Washington Redskins stand the best chance so far as their defensive secondary matches up well with the Patriots. Will the Pats still be undefeated after Sunday's game? Pat's receivers could get roughed up (by Landry and crew) -- all except for Moss, who is on a Mission from God!
Here are some numbers in the race to catch-up with Ragman.
Ragman (69-34) disagrees with Cowdoc in 1 game, with RJB in 3, Wandeljw in 2 and with CI and Imur in 6(!). So, potentially, RJB could tie with a sweep of the three games in dispute, as could CI and Imur if either has a really good week.
By the way, Cowdoc (67-34) disagrees with RJB in 2 games, Wandeljw in 1, CI in 7 and Imur in 5.
RJB (66-37) disagrees with Wandeljw in 1, CI and Imur in 5.
Wandeljw (65-38) disagrees with CI in 6 and Imur in 4.
Astonishingly, CI and Imur (each 64-39) disagree in 6!

Wow...the PRES-sure! It makes you wonder how much pressure these teams feel?
