It's back! The NFL's first game is just a month away and A2K will be here for our FOURTH SEASON!
That's right, ladies and gents, for three years folks here on A2K who don't know one end of a football from the other have been trying to pick the winners in each week's games.

Before we overdose on Cheez-wiz and Pabst Blue Ribbon, or red wine and brie, and forget about this thread tomorrow...

Thanks, JPB, for running this thing this year. You did well, along with some assistance from your sidekick, osso. This thing will be back again next season, which is only about 6 months away.

You were no slouch either, RJB.

JPB did a great job, all the time busier in real life than she had expected to be when she volunteered. We are so spoiled with her fantastic stat-ability.

NFL history is going to be made thoughout the next 2.5 hours - an exciting SB, for a change.

Sure hjope tom Petty keeps his breasts under wraps. I just saw him with a beard...YIKES. There oughta be a law against it-- especially bad.

Had some taco salad and watched the pre-game show. Set almost fainted.

"what's that you're watching?"

Ha!

Showered. Put on my jammies. I'm ready to watch my first NFL game. Well, I'm watching already, but ...

~~~
Thanks for all the fun here, kids!
3 pts on an 8 min drive is NOT the way for the Giants to win this game!
Thanks for all for the kudos. It's been fun. Sorry real life took over for a bit. Today is Game Day. Go Giants!!! (but you'd better figure out how to get beyond the 20 yard line!).
RJB you are sage. Eli is rattled at best. He needs a halftime massage...
Run, run, run to win the game, Gints....
Halftime. Are both offenses inept, or are both defenses on target?
Many of us here predicted total points in the high 40's and beyond.
Spinach-artichoke dip? Pass it this way.
Petty sounded good ... and I think the beard is a good look for him.
Halftime snack here: homemade salsa and tortilla chips ... and Miller Chill to wash it down.
