I think that travelling all the way to Arizona to play a Superbowl is a waste of energy. They should meet along I 95 and play. Maybe Bridgeport or New HAven.

If the game ends on a FG (43), who wins ... RP (41) or George (45)?

if green bay had won 23-20, i suppose George and i would have had a chowdah-eatin' contest or something...

And now, for one day in the year, you shall have some professional fooball. We should call it the "Groundhawg Grapple"

One Dimensional Packers
As hard as I rooted for Favre and Packers, they proved that they're a one dimensional offense when pressed hard by a good defense.

The run game was taken away or died for Packers. So that meant Brett was forced to press harder and as a result was a few interceptions..and at key times. Couple that with the bitter cold and his accurate touch (and the receivers) was off enough to upset the balance. Credit the stout Giant defense.

However, The Giants Manning did not press too hard as their game plan had a good balance of the run game. This took the pressure off enough to help prevent him throwing picks. He has raised his game to a higher level and has come of age as top-tier QB.

He was faced with a watershed game - and with Giants losing a pivotal game for the franchise and a possible search for a new job...or demotion to level of a second string QB in the future.

Let's see what happens to Giant defense when faced with arguably the best offense in NFL history - The Pats'!

Oh one more thing...Pats probably played their biggest (but their worst game) of the seaon and still beat a good/great (albeit an injured and LT-depleted) Chargers and still won by 9 points. Yikes! Credit goes to Faulk for great catches and Maloney for having amazing games. Someone there on that team always seems to step up no matter what is going on.

Brett looked terrible yesterday; most of his passes wasn't close to the target, and the receivers didn't seem too motivated to reach out with their hearts. It was too discouraging, but it was still a very good game - considering.

So, the way I see it, looking at next year for Brett and those pesky Packers...now his goal HAS to be to come back in great shape and get his team to a berth in SuperBowl as it was HIM who failed THEM in the fourth quarter by throwing those key interceptions and making key mistakes. His leadership and his legacy is still at stake here.

Ironic but how about the possibility of Manning and Favre having switched souls as in 'Heaven Can Wait' (Warren Beatty 1978 movie)?

Or, perhaps, that was Brady switching with (former) Elias Manning? Take your pick.

Question: How does Plaxico Burress free himself up from pain and immobility to take those sharp cuts on that bad leg of his and with that frigid weather?

How will he fair against the Pats, especially with remembering his performance when he was with Steelers in the AFC Championship in 2004/2005 season and also being blanked on that playoff wild-card game (23-0)?

Could his decision to be more disciplined and stay within the planned offensive routes be part of the success that Eli and Gints are having?

Aren't modern drugs and steroids simply amazing. (kidding...or?)

Curiousity got me...I'm looking up Plaxico's size...listed as 6 ft 5 in. and 232 lbs. Wonder what Bigby's size is? Ahh it's listed as 5 ft. 11 in. and 211 lbs..
