The Amish bulk stores sell all sorts of Folk Remedies as well as bulk foods. I always wondered what mullein could do since its basically a roadside weed with thee tall spikes of yellow flowers

Sounds complicated though. Straining the little hairs may prove difficult cause the leaves are like big versions of Dusty Millers.

I'd love a store like that with specialty items. Maybe there's one in Moncton somewhere just waiting for me to find it :-D

And here's a similar one where you can order online from several countries.

Nah, the Bulk Barn that Montana started the thread about is a very specific chain found only in some Canadian provinces.

the logo looks like this

Company History

Bulk Barn Foods Limited is a family-owned business founded in 1982 by Carl V. Ofield. The company began with three corporately-owned stores that soon became franchised.

Other stores followed quickly and today, there are 106, all of which are owned and operated by individual franchisees. Bulk Barn stores can be found in Ontario, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Our brightly coloured structures are visibly located in various major centres of these provinces.

~~~
It's not as big or fancy as Sam's.
(Sam's hasn't done too well in the Canadian market - seems to be backing out slowly.)
Yeah, with all that colorful candy, dried fruit, grains, spices and such, I would imagine they would be hard to find.
I spent over an hour in there, easy, and it's hard to believe I missed anything.
Can't believe I didn't buy any chocolate and my only reason was because of the heat. Was very hot and home was a 45 minute drive after dinner at Montana's and shopping at Sobey's.
I'm gonna be a mess in that place when the cool weather rolls around and I don't have to worry about the melt factor Shocked
