Palin qualifies. There might be a few other pubbies I'd like better, but I'd be happy with Palin in the whitehouse.
Don't worry... Brains can be bought, but voices like that cannot be heard by liberals without the risk of nerve damage... Don't worry for the right; they were born that way...

@engineer,
I had a slightly less substantial display in mind for my own criticism of Bristol Palin.and her "dance interpretation" The fact that she had this big box of orange kleenexes sticking out around her boobs, she danced like a turkey with big drumsticks. I always choose a means of showing my displeasure that does not require the discharge firearms in my house.

All of this talk of Bristol Palin's personal appearance is making me feel sorry for her. I never watch those shows, never even watched American Idol much less all the rest of the run off shows so I don't know whether she danced well or not. The people who voted for her must of thought she danced well but personally I could care or less what she looks like or dances like.

I just hardly think given what we have seen far that the Palins represent any kind of down home good American family values as they are portrayed as being by those who coin that kind of idiotic phrase in the first place. I mean, the youngest daughter evidently has a mouth like a sewer and poor Bristol has a hard time being a knocked up teen and all the drama of on again off again marriage to the father. After reading emails of the Todd Palin he seems as high triggered as does Sara Palin and neither seems to have been the most successful of parents. But I know how it is to raise daughters in this world today. If you are not right on top of it everyday, it can get away from you before you know it.

@revelette,
Someone got my wife watching it and I don't mind because I would like to do the tango with her.... Which I don't know, but it is so like our relationship... And she pointed out that Palin was staying and it was entirely her partner who was carrying her... It was not fair to more talented, and clearly, hard working people... But; what's fair???

@Fido,
I didn't mean anything by it, I just happened never to have like those types of shows.

Speaking of Tangos, I did watch a pretty good show with Robert De Nero (I think spelled right) something called "Assassination Tango." I don't know too much about dancing but I have watched it and that movie seemed to have brought the dance to whole new level. Good movie.

Speaking of Murkowski (we were at one time) I think she won.

@revelette,
Not that it makes that much difference, but I got it wrong, it was Robert Duvall who played in Assassination Tango.

Imagine that: A U.S. Senator, holding all that power, and not having much more than 100,000 votes when in the rest of the country it takes over three hundred K to elect a representative... Nothing could be more undemocratic than the Senate... It has to be written out of law...

@revelette,
I was told the tango began in Panama with pimps at whore houses dancing with the customers as they waited their turn with a girl.... That was where we got the Panama hat too, from the forty-niners waiting passage to California... Sort of explains the sexual tension of it as well, all the pushing and shoving... Having never done it, I can imagine it warming some one up for a go at a girl...

@Fido,
I don't really know about all that, kind of puts the romance out of thing when put like you put it. Before watching that movie I have only seen the tango danced on tv with partners sort of marching sideways holding hands. The dancing was really pretty when danced like they danced it on the movie.

But anyway moving on...the whole Alaska thing really didn't matter to me once the democrat lost, but I was interested to see how Murkowski was able to negate the Palin influence after the primary once she decided to run as a write-in.

The place were tea party politics will tell is in house districts... There, republicans have gerrymandered themselves into so many safe seats that they have no one to fear but people more vocal, rabid and radical than themselves...Liberal is a swear word to the democrats, and moderate is a swear word to the republican, and so the politics of the country are being pushed further right than the public... I am waiting on a backlash... I hope it takes this country to a whole new place...

Ya; she's an idiot; but if it weren't for girls like than who aren't as smart as a condom we would all be Mexicans...

Who ever is putting the bag over her head to have sex with her should switch to a feed bag and give up on the plastic bag..

If I were her husband, I'd wake up every day saying Jesus; are you still here??? I dreamed I killed you, again...

I think that Lisa Murkowski has joined the ranks of Arlen Spector and Charlie Crist.

I think that Lisa Murkowski hates Sarah Palin because she defeated her daddy and she endorsed her opponent.

I think that what Lisa Murkowski says about Sarah Palin is utterly immaterial.

I think that Palin Haters will latch on to any idiotic comment or report that allows them to trash her ad nauseum...like her daughter beating out Brandy in a silly television dance show.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Personally I don't care what Lisa M. thinks or says. I made up my own mind about Palin long ago. I don't need anybody to tell me she's an idiot, I can figure that out for myself.

You are correct: Utterly immaterial... Brains won't get anyone elected... Money and good looks will, and with the right handlers, and the willingness to let them think for you, you may not do too much damage... If any one starts thinking that just because they are suddenly president that means they have as suddenly grown a brain, and they are now the deciderer, we are all in trouble... Presidents have got to learn to sit down and shut up and do what their brains tell them to do, and go into stand by mode when their brains have went to the toilet...
