Vibrations (such as when "omming") are good for bone density.

Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears
And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair
I hear the sound of a gentle word
On the wind that lifts her perfume through the air

Im pickin up good vibrations
Shes giving me excitations

Shes somehow closer now
Softly smile, I know she must be kind
When I look in her eyes
She goes with me to a blossom world

Psst -- RP -- that one's supposed to be for the private collection.

Well, I did a lot of sleeping. Then I'd get up, cook a bit (because food is so limited and weird, I had to take control over something), then conk out again. It's 9:30 and I haven't had dinner yet. Yeah, things are that messed up here at Casa Philbis.

I also have a still rather swollen mouth, up into the sinus, so I look very much like a prize fighter and am hoping that my new career in same takes off quickly. I'm a lot less nauseous than I was (combo of anaesthesia plus the appliance, I think). Haven't worn the prosthesis at all today, but I will put it in when I go out in public. Don't wanna scare the small children. Much.

And -- thank you all for your omming and mooing (and shooting?) -- nice to know you all care.

I got through the surgery by lying to myself, telling myself that the surgeon was just looking and cleaning. The whole thing took a coupla hours. The most fun was, after the cab that got me home, I got in the car and drove to the drug store to get my fix, er, stash, er, you know. Four drugs. The bathroom shelf looks the dispensary in M*A*S*H.

Now, time to eat something semi-solid and then, yes, sleep will be the next activity. Smile

I still have m'stash from my battery of surgeries in the earlier naughts (noughts?). I did lose one vial of vicodin, the bottle that was in my purse that I took to the wedding of my business partner's son the day after my first lumpo. I put the purse on the car roof while I put some other items, whatever, probably left over wedding food, in the car, and drove off. The purse was found, empty natch, in the local park....by a probable kindly lady (or not). Luckily, I didn't need that particular stash..

Glad to see you back, you dawg on velvet....

Gracias.

I had kinda expected Friday to be worse than Thursday in terms of recovery, and in some ways it kinda is. My face is still swollen, and talking or smiling feels like I'm pulling on the stitches.
