Ya'll should consider grillz.
And all this gave me the idea to have a visit at my dentist's yesterday - just for the half-year rountine check-up.
Nothing dramtically wrong with my teeth ... just one or two, which might be considered to be done later. (My dentist is one of the more conserving art, tries to keep as long as possible.)
And since I was there, I asked him about transplants: not as expensive as I thought.
Hope, the ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmms did work over night and you could sleep!!!
I haven't seen a dentist in over 7 years and I know I'm going to be having all kinds of fun when the time comes
Ohmmmmmmmm.........
You have to go here at least once per year for checking (twice is paid): otherwise, the partial payment for some more expensive "stuff" is reduced.
Today's the day.
JPB, how are you feeling? Are you able to go to work today?
My office said I could definitely take the next day but I get the feeling that tomorrow might not be my worst day.
4 PM apperntment. Will try to check out the YouTube click later, thanks.
Ulp. Facing the elevator music in less than 10 hours.
JPB--
I hope all is well?
Jes--
Four o'clock? The anticipation must be deadly.
Hold your dominion.
Remain calm, your perfect beauty is important to us all.
I wonder how Ibuprofen 800 worked during the night ...
OMMMMMMMMM ....MMMMM
... and multiple-OMMMM's to Bahstin as well!
I slept well and have much less swelling and pain this morning. Thanks all for your thoughts. Yes, jes, I'm planning on working today but I had an early AM appt yesterday. I didn't feel like doing much of anything yesterday and was icing 20 minutes out of every hour all day. Also, I don't have a donor site for my bone graft, just the lower gum area. Mr B had a skin graft years ago and his donor site was an equal partner to his graft site in his recovery. Don't push yourself to work tomorrow unless you need to.
oooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Dinner last night was a scrambled egg that I let cool to room temp before eating (ugh) and another Ensure shake. I cut the egg up into small pieces and mostly swallowed it whole. Today I graduate to semi-soft foods (I'm thinking pasta) and can add moderate temperatures and cold drinks. Nothing spicy, crunchy (as in chips/crackers), tough meats, or foods with small seeds until the sutures are removed in two weeks.
Sending mucho mojo towards Boston. I agree with Noddy, waiting for a late afternoon appointment could be tough. I'll be thinking of you.
Thinking of both of y'all, and omming.
So, whatcha planning on eating when you can finally eat whatever you want, JPB?
I'm happy to hear that things went well and are continuing to get well :-D
Hang in there Jes. Ohmmmmmmm........

Well, I'll probably start with mas tequila and then move on to food. Honestly, at this point I don't feel much like eating anything on my disallowed list. I do love spicy foods, so I'll probably go for some spicy Chinese or Mexican (to go with the tequila) when I get the all clear.
Ooooooooommmmmmmmmmming for Jes at 4pm ET and for JPB's continuing recovery.
The clock strikes 4:11. Jes is Under the Knife and JPB is contemplating bland pasta.
Ommmmmm.
