Availability of Rainsoft Q2 Valve Assembly Motor?

Have 10+ year old Rainsoft water softener with Q2 valve assembly (the old green one). Stop working 2+ years ago, finally decided to have someone come have a look. Technician came out, replaced o-rings, turned it on and failed to manual regen. Technician "decided" the board assembly was bad because regen wouldn't initiate, and needed to "upgrade" the "computer assembly" for the low-low price of $1900. That ain't happening.

After technician left, had a look. Manually rotated the otherwise siezed motor until the electronics indicated stage 1, and timer started. I can tell the motor is energized (core is magnetized) and simply not rotating. I don't know yet if Rainsoft still supports replacement of the motor verse replacing the entire valve assembly (already seen other posts about Fleck valve and others, don't need a sales pitch).

Does anyone know of a third party supplier of Rainsoft parts or available on-line sale of replacement parts such as the motor?

Sorry to hear you got caught by the Rainsoft scam, sorry, "unique marketing methods".

I quote

"If you are in the Florida area you can contact the Florida Attorney Generals office for complaints against Rainsoft. Rainsoft has an agreement with them to perform service or be fined."

"... Rainsoft ... [other makers omitted] have all gone out of their way to produce unique parts that can only be obtained through their authorized dealers. This usually makes them more difficult and more expensive to purchase."

I guess from your remarks that you're not interested in this

"How to replace your Rainsoft valve"

Or this

"Rainsoft New Timer Motor 24 volts for more recent models, PN 17493 Older models use the 24 volt CW190-1 or CW190-2. Also for 120 volt we have the WG190-1 or WG190-2 $49.95"

@H2O MAN,
H2O Man: Do you have access to a good Rainsoft Q2 valve motor? The specs on it is Molon HGM-1701-19. I can't find reference to this anywhere. Of course, this motor has the hex shaped stem and threaded end that supports the cams and the nut that ties it down through the circuit board box.

If you don't have it, can you point me in the right direction. My motor after 20 years has pretty much died out and will barely turn.

Does anyone have access to a good Rainsoft Q2 valve motor? The specs on it is Molon HGM-1701-19 (24v/60hz/1.4amps). I can't find reference to this anywhere. Of course, this motor has the hex shaped 2" shaft and threaded end that supports the cams and the nut that ties it down through the circuit board box.

If you don't have one, can you point me in the right direction? My motor after 20 years has pretty much died out and will barely turn.

Thanks in advance for your help!

@H2O MAN,
would you also have a meter / sensor assembly P/N 15021 and the o-ring? The local rep wants way to much knowing it's a hard part to find.
