"Tude" as in "Attitude" and in self-confidence and assertiveness.

IMO, using the word "tude" for attitude, indicates a negative connotation. To me, someone with tude, has a bluff, bluster and swagger to his demeanor.

"Tude" is slang, and not standard English. Use it informally, but never when proper English is required.
