Er, no.
Wait a minute do men have taints? Guess they must.
If you do any kind of woodland traipsing with the doggies in Madison, ticks will be involved. They're impervious to most anything but fire -- unsquashable -- so ya light a match and then fry 'em. They pop.
Band? That was the '70s!
ba-ba-ba-bum!
You can twist em out, can't ye? But I can't recomember if it's clockwise or counterclockwise (anticlockwise to our antipodean and across-the-pond friends).
Oh, you can get 'em OUT, but then what. Watching 'em crawl around your floor is... yucky.
Watching them explode in a little fireball is fun, though.
(Maybe I have torethink the psychopath thing...)
Ever since seeing 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' I have been antipodean myself.
Okay, this is the last one before I delete my cookies and get on out of here. You folk's've made me feel so warm and happy and, well, loved that maybe I'll even, you know, come back. (Because, like, 4,138 posts doesn't indicate an unhealthy obsession or anything....) Cheers!
Cheers! Have a good trip! See you soon!
(I've found that discussion of roasting ticks really works for making a warm and happy atmosphere, ya know? Kinda like chestnuts, I guess.)
Adios pdawg!
Re ticks - you have to get them out alive or they might throw up lyme tick disease (or what ever else they might be carrying) into your blood stream. Then blow the evil dooers up. Or, if you're less prone to pyrotechniques, you can flush them. They'll also suffocate if you cover them with oil.
Take a warm match and put on their behind, they'll back right on out!
Good luck pd - who let the dawg out
doggone.....waaaaaaaaaaah!
Oh my goodness I came out of hiding two days too late!
Patiodog, we'll miss you until we see you again. And we will see you again. Not a threat, just a simple statement.
"Not a threat..." I like that.
Give it a week or two, then we can rustle up an A2K posse, find him in Madison, and stand over him with baseball bats until he logs on.
Hmmm...
I still don't know what his graduate studies are in (think veterinary, but there was some mention of law). But I sure wish him well.
Well, I think he will need friends' support to do his very best, am wishing him a bit of computer free-time.
I think he's veterinary, his gf is law.
I personally think UW-Madison is PERFECT for that little combo, but then I'm a dyed in the wool Badger.
We don't need no stinkin' Badgers!
Well, if I knew how to post pics, I'd be slappin' a Herky on you right now, missy! But I don't. <Rats>
