Hello

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I'm getting a tatoo in memory of my late granpa and would like to know what the Latin translation is for the following:

1) Never Forgotten
2) Always Remembered
3) Always in my heart
4) Loved forever

Hope someone can help as this is really important to me

Semper recordatus
Semper in corde meo
Amatus in aeternum

Since this is for a tattoo, PLEASE have someone else review it first.
I'm not a professional Latin scholar, just a guy who does this for fun.

Darn, I just spent 5 whole minutes answering this on another thread! Anyway, it would be recordatus sum, since it's a deponent. Correct me if I'm wrong. Other than that, I agree.

I was using "recordatus" as a participle.
Lewis & Short cite its use in a passive sense.

No, no, no. I'm just being obtuse.

I searched around a lot for a way to say "remembered".
I happed to look up recordor and saw that recordatus could be used in the
passive sense even though the verb is deponent and has passive forms but
active meanings.

By the way, are you familiar with the online Latin/English dictionaries at the
Perseus Tufts site?

I am now! But it's a bit confusing; I did a search for a word and it came back with 20 different Latin words. They can't all mean the same thing.

Yeah, it can be confusing because they return every word whose
definition includes the English word you're looking for. Generally I scan
the list looking for a word that is familiar, then read up on it.

I've got a Cassell's dictionary on my desk as well.
