I hear Saddam blinked, that is plain
Weapons inspectors may go in again
I hope that Hans Blix
Will find all their tricks
And the nation finds a leader who's sane.

When right to lifers and Democrats agree
The result is really something to see
The bankruptcy bill
Just rolled down the Hill
Creating a very strange pod for these peas

A peaceful solution appears
Maybe war's not the worst of my fears
But if history's edits
Gives George too much credit
Will be stuck with him another four years.

Should I move this one to Politics?
It'll only take me a few clicks
Or Original Writing?
The wit here is biting!
I can one of my cross-posting tricks!

Seal - can I move this topic to Politics and Original Writing (I'll cross-post it)?

Jespah, you do as you're bidden
all shards equal in the midden
It's just to absurd
to catagorize words
as long as they don't get too hidden.

Hate crimes against Arabs is bigger
Since September 11, so I figger'
We must stop and take note
For it won't stop at scapegoat
And Muslims will become the new ... whipping boy?

Our economy circles the drain
Our health care system's a pain
But Dubya's scam
Is to dethrone Saddam,
Wave the flag, and get elected again.

It almost is time for the vote
one thing I'm certain to note
Win, draw or lose
It's important to choose
We're all here, in the same boat

There once was a man name of Bush
Who some thought had brains made of mush
But republicans thought he was grand
Nominated him to run the land
In hopes his opponent he'd crush.

Then there was a guy name of Kerry
Whose flip-flopping opinions were scary
But democrats said what the heck
At least he's a Vietnam vet
And he'll do while we're waiting on Hilary.

And thus are the choices we face
As we finally come to the end of this race.
But don't get so sad
For it isn't all bad
We get to do it again in 08.

This election the country will decide
whether to unite or divide
4 years we have seen
a moron be mean
while Osama Bin Laden still hides.

there once was a man from texas
whose policies really did vex us
but in 2004
we'll show him the door
and accept someone else's prospectus

We once had a president named Bush
who pulled reasons for war from his tush.
He said, "The Almighty gave me
a reason like gravy,
to invade with a shove and a push."

We once had a hope, named Kerry
to fix our country and be merry
but Florida and Ohio
we just can't deny-o
have brought us results that don't vary

Freeduck, that is quite clever! Now for something on the same subject, but decidedly more vitriolic. Twisted Evil

The pres candidate from near Nantucket
Hoped citizens would vote to chuck it-
The incumbent, I mean,
And his terror-driven machine,
But the voters, they said, well, "**** IT."
