Can someone translate "watch over" "watch over us" or "protect us" for a tattoo in Latin? Example..... in the context of god watch over my children. Thanks.

I was just going to say the same thing George...

I don't think your best source of information on the accuracy of a translation is the internet. Best to find someone who speaks the language and ask them.

George is a smart A2Ker but even the smartest of us make mistakes sometimes and I know he wouldn't want to be responsible for you tattooing "Large Dilldo" or something other than what you wanted on your body.

Thanks, Bella Dea.
Always verify a Latin translation made by a software engineer.

Well, you seem to be on your game but wouldn't it be the sh!t that he runs out and gets it done and then tonight, as you lay in your bed, it hits you....you've given him the wrong translation!

I had someone give me a bad translation for my tattoo...which is why I am so leary because it was the tattoo parlor and the symbol book they had! Stupid people gave me the symbol for "concubine" instead of "princess/royalty". They SAID it was but I found out from someone who spoke Japanese that it really meant "woman of the king" or "concubine" and that I should have had one more stroke on the symbol. Lucky for me I was able to take whore off my back and fix it to be "royalty".

Interesting that a princess is only a stroke away from a whore...
