In Tennessee, Goats Eat the ‘Vine That Ate the South’

The concept is hardly new. Our local weed control program has been using goats to graze noxious weeds for over five years. We have mainly concentrated on spotted knapweed and leafy spurge, with a fair amount of success. The goat program definitely works better if it's coordinated with spraying and biological controls, though.
