would you like to help list out the often-used writing genres here!
for example: minutes writing, memo, resume,....
It's minute writing (no 's') or just minutes...
Why do you want to do this?
To be frank, I am working in a company and I am compiling a handbook of business communications which contains some types of practical writing for the smooth business communications, and I need first-hand materials coming from the strong business countries. help me please!
The act of writing the minutes of a meeting is called "taking minutes".
I can think of
minute
memorandum (s) memoranda (pl) ("memos")
résumé (Curriculum Vitae in UK & Europe)
letter
report
balance sheet
proposals
reports
executive summary
instructions

Thank u for your help! especially the webpage! would you like to offer more?
Agendas
Fax cover sheets
Itineraries
News releases
Contrex mentioned balance sheets. If you want to include financial documents, I'd add income statements and profit and loss statements.
If you want to find the standard formats (in the United States) for setting up business documents, refer to the Gregg Reference Manual at

Thanks again, Roberta.
Now let's move on to the next topic:what are the most frequently used online communication tool? I mean in business activities. MSN? or anything else?
