Fine. Let them bitch, as long as they pay. That's what freedom is all about.

On a completely unrelated but relevant note, The Humane Society of the United States lobbied to get Prop 3, the dove hunt, on the Michigan 2006 ballot. The proposal was to ESTABLISH A DOVE HUNT. Then, once they got it on the ballot, they spent even more money trashing hunters and getting the proposal defeated.

Big Oil uses the same bait and switch tactics. Beware.

Wow, completely off topic, but do you have a link? The Humane Society Website says that the state legislature approved hunting and that thousands of doves were killed before they started lobbying against it. If you've got a good link, please start a new thread. Back to topic, what bait and switch examples do you have for "Big Oil"?

I have a gazillion links but if you are gonna use the HSUS website for research, then god help you. Do you know who they are?

Yes, a trial dove season was enacted. HSUS saw the opportunity and got enough signatures through a proxy to get Prop 3 on the ballot, then ran millions of dollars in ads criticizing hunters and dove hunting to get it voted down.

38 other states have dove hunts. California has two a year. Michigan has none, at least in part because this Washington D.C. based lobbying group called HSUS pulled a bait and switch on voters. They have nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with your local humane socieity. The are, in fact, humane societal name leeches. Recently combined with the Fund for Animals, HSUS is simply the largest anti-hunting organization in the world. They are just a bunch of uber-liberal chimps trying to destroy America and American heritage. So there.

I have started several. Look back around October of 2006.

Your handle says "engineer". You do know how to search, right?
